is software that simulates pile driving prior to actual pile installation using the wave equation numerical analysis technique.
The software predicts driving stresses, hammer performance and the relation between pile bearing capacity and net set per blow (inverse of blow count per unit depth). This allows the user to investigate which hammer is likely to be sufficient and economic for a certain pile and soil condition prior to mobilizing the hammer to the jobsite. This advance computer simulation is easily performed, and helps avoid costly errors in judgment. |
